    Assist with event setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination for community meals and cultural events.

    Support partner chefs or organizations in preparing meals or assisting during cooking classes and events.

  • Community Partnership Scouts
    Identify and connect Mesa Abierta with local chefs, businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders aligned with the mission.

  • Program Coordination Support
    Help coordinate logistics for events and programs, including scheduling, communication, and basic planning tasks.

  • Food Recovery and Sustainability Support
    Assist in coordinating food recovery efforts, packaging, and redistribution while helping track impact such as meals donated or food waste reduced.

  • Community Ambassadors
    Represent Mesa Abierta at local events, markets, and gatherings to build awareness and connect with potential participants and partners.

  • Storytelling and Communications
    Help capture and share stories from the community through writing, photography, or social media.

  • Fundraising and Sponsor Outreach
    Support efforts to identify and connect with potential sponsors, donors, and funding partners.

  • Grant and Research Support

  • Mentorship and Youth Engagement

  • Founding Donors and Early Supporters
    Contribute financially to help establish and grow Mesa Abierta’s programs and long-term sustainability.
